Originally from Austin, Texas, I spent time immersed in the fields of architectural engineering and architecture while studying at the University of Texas at Austin. I later went on to receive my MFA in Design from Boston University. During this program I began an ongoing body of self-initiated design research focused on behavorial science, psychology and sustainability in the context of design.

Now based in New York, NY, I specialize in identity systems, UX/UI, accessibility and wayfinding. I also help emerging independent brands with creative strategy and positioning. Always utilizing an interrogative process, I look to create meaningful discourse through research-intensive multidisciplinary collaboration.

A good portion of my time outside of design is taken up by ultra-endurance cycling. I have previously completed a 4,600 mile cycling route from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska as a part of the nonprofit Texas 4000. In 2022 I will be completing a 3,200 mile cycling route along the western coast of North America from Mexico to Canada.
